Your son, if I understand well should not be far from my summer house (in the "Oise department" not too far from Senlis) I see that he's still doing his duty towards France bravely and cheerfully an I congratulate him and you as well. A word my dear friend to tell me where and when I must send the painting for you. Believe the truthful attachment that our reciprocal understanding of the "things of war" has considerably developed and let me kiss you with all my heart.
